MCLB (Max Current Limited Battery)

MCLB (Max Current Limited Battery) is the safe lithium ion battery that operates max current limitation when the batteries have with electrical, thermal and mechanical abuse condition.

In the MCLB, the new current collector has very low electric conductivity when the short circuit happened. (Short circuit current is very low) So, the MCLB has low heat generation at short circuit state. MCLB is very stable at abuse condition.

And the new current collector can be thinner and lighter than now. So, MCLB has higher Energy Density.
